Getting in touch with our Chinese side

Thursday was more relaxed compared to Wednesday, though the weather was only getting worse by the hour. We scheduled two meetings at the same time: one for 10 people at the ARD and the other for 22 people at the ZDF offices (ARD and ZDF are german television and radio stations). We subdivided the group and each attended one meeting then we all met in the evening at the Chinese Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

It was definitely a highlight actually meeting real Chinese representatives that we were supposed to play at the Model United Nations. We met the Head of press at the Mission, Mr Liu Yutong; who gave us a better understanding of China’s role and relations in the United Nations and the world. He polished up the information we had been gathering throughout our research making the visit worthwhile.
