Rules of Procedure in EPUB format

In a long line of delivering features that we have not announced, we have another gem for you.
The latest edition of our Rules of Procedure has been ported to the EPUB ebook format. This format is supported by most ebook readers, the Apple iPad and iPod (via iBooks), and the Android and WebOS Platform ( e.g. via Aldiko Reader)
DuEMUN on the Fast Lane

On our Youtube Channel you will find a very brief video, recorded live on the A40. Our table attracted quite a few observers and we were able to meet some interesting people.
We would have loved to have had more simulation there but sadly the ever hovering helicopters did not permit talking all that well. Be sure to check back as we will upload more pictures from the event.

NMUN Participation ends with two Awards

The 2010 NMUN Delegation of the University of Duisburg-Essen returned home yesterday evening after a study trip of two weeks. While the first week saw interviews with UN organs, experts and NGOs, the second week was of course planned for the NMUN Conference.
Our delegation represented China in fifteen committees and eventually returned home with two Awards.
One was issued for Outstanding Position Papers, while the other was an Honorable Mention for our work in the committees.
NMUN Delegations visits Chinese Ambassador

Members of the 2010 NMUN Delegation of the University of Duisburg-Essen visited the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Berlin on Friday.
The Ambassador and his staff provided Delegates with background information and hints on representing China at the United Nations.
Delegates were especially honored to be invited to a formal reception.
