DuEMUN VII 2011

The seventh installment of the largest Model UN in the Ruhr Area will take place in June 2011, once again bringing the United Nations to the banks of Rhine and Ruhr.
150 students will convene in three forums of international politics to debate relevant topics in a realistic manner.

In the days leading up to the conference, our participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a cultural program, showcasing many of the region’s most famous sights and events.

DuEMUN VI. will offer several social events, such as the Global Village party in which delegates can present food, drink and culture of their country. A black tie ball will also be included in the program for the first time, giving delegates a taste of real diplomatic glamour.

Next to the simulation, an academic framework program will include lectures and panel discussions with experts on the agenda topics, integrated into the sessions of the various committees.

A workshop for faculty advisers will provide plenty of opportunities for accompanying scholars to share ideas and present their research.
