Prerequisites
If you wish to participate as a delegate, you must meet the following requirements:
- The maximum age is 30 years at the time of the conference.
- You will be or have been enrolled at a University or College within 12 months of the date of the conference.
All participants of DuEMUN VIII are required to pay a conference fee of 60 Euros. This fee covers conference materials such as badges and placards, drinks and snacks and one cultural event. Not included are transportation costs, accommodation and other expenses.

Consequently a sample would look like this: “M. Mustermann Angola ECOSOC” If you do not do this, we are unable to find out who you are and will not be able to process your application. Important: We will assign you a country only after receiving your fees!
Students of Ruhr Area Universities
Students from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Ruhr University Bochum and the Technical University of Dortmund wishing to earn credit points are required to take part in a preparation seminar. While the conference is an integral part of the seminar, the seminar is however not an integral part of the conference. This means that sudents from the above universities not wishing to earn credit points are only required to visit two bloc courses during the summer semester, not the weekly seminar.
Students from other nearby colleges and universities are encouraged to visit the bloc courses, if so possible. However participation for those students is not mandatory.
