Overview of the III. DuEMUN Conference
5th July – 9th July 2007
Hosted by the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) and the DuEMUN student initiative, the third Duisburg-Essen Model United Nations (DuEMUN) Conference from July 5th until 8th were interesting days in an international atmosphere. In 2007 we simulated the Security Council and the Human Rights Council. The DuEMUN conference dealed among other topics with the conflict in Sudan and the international negotiation process with North-Korea. To enjoy an international atmosphere we invited delegations from e.g. Egypt, Pakistan and Afghanistan. From July 1st until 4th we offered a cultural programme for our international guests.
